Compared to some of the other resorts on Zante you will find Kalamaki to be a fairly quiet place and less built up, however it is slowly catching up with the tourist interest in the area. There isn't a huge amount of entertainment found in the resort as the nightlife mainly consists of one disco just outside the resort on a hill and there is also selection of bars that offer family entertainment like quizzes and karaoke. If you are looking for more to do during the day then you could always head to nearby Zakynthos Town to explore the shops and sights there or simply take a pleasant walk along one of the long winding roads backed by the mountains and olive groves.
